One Point Performance
Where Mental Wellness Meets Peak Performance
About Me
I’m Rachel Moyer, a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience, working with elite and professional athletes to navigate the pressures, expectations, and challenges of high-level competition. I started One Point to create a space that acknowledges the intersection of mental performance and mental wellness — a place where athletes can gain clarity, confidence, and consistency both on and off the field.
I believe real mental strength comes from a combination of toughness and gentleness: being disciplined and resilient while also giving yourself the space to reflect, grow, and take care of your mind. My work is about helping athletes get out of their own way so they can perform at their best, no matter the circumstances.
Who this is for
This work sits at the intersection of performance and life. Here are some of the most common areas we focus on:
The Approach
This work is about more than just feeling better. It’s about showing up with clarity, confidence, and consistency both in your sport and in your life.
At One Point, the work focuses on three pillars:
Awareness:
Understanding thoughts, emotions, and patterns to uncover what’s happening beneath the surface
Tools:
Learn concrete strategies and routines for pressure, stress, and confidence on and off the field
Application:
Practice in real scenarios to build consistency and translate sessions to competition and life
This isn’t about overanalyzing or turning you into someone you’re not, it’s about optimizing your brain to work for you, not against you.
How to work together
1:1 Performance & Mental Health Work
I offer private, one-on-one sessions for athletes looking to strengthen both their mental performance and overall well-being.
Sessions are 60 minutes and available virtually or in person when location allows. When appropriate, I travel to athletes to ensure support fits seamlessly into training and competition.
All work is individualized to the athlete, their sport, and the specific demands they’re navigating.
If you’re interested in working together, the best place to start is a consultation.
Free Consultation
I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation to determine fit, clarify goals, and answer any questions before beginning work together.
There is no obligation, just a conversation to see if this approach aligns with what you’re looking for.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
While I’m a licensed therapist, the work I offer here is focused on mental performance and personal development rather than clinical therapy. That said, it still draws from a strong foundation in mental health, and we may naturally touch on both performance and well-being as part of the process.
If therapy or a higher level of care is needed, I will always help guide you in the right direction.
-
Yes. Your privacy matters. You are welcome to share about the work we do but I will not share with anyone unless you ask me to.
This space is yours. For younger athletes, I may provide general updates to parents when appropriate, but the goal is always to maintain trust and give you a place to be open.
-
That’s part of the work.
Performance doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Life, stress, relationships, and identity all impact how you show up. We can absolutely work through those things as they relate to your performance and overall well-being.
If something requires a different level of support, I’ll help you find the right resources.
-
That’s completely okay. Most athletes haven’t.
I’ll meet you where you are and build from there. You don’t need to have the “right words” or know what to expect, just a willingness to engage.
-
That’s normal.
Trust takes time. We’ll go at a pace that feels right, while still being intentional about the work. There’s no expectation to share everything immediately.
